EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN ONE OF THE WORLD'S FASTEST GROWING INDUSTRIES
This part-time educational program is designed for students with busy lives. The program fulfills the necessary training requirements to take the State Board licensing exam and to work as an esthetician.
We give individualized, hands-on instruction in a small clinical setting. Training includes skin disorders, advanced topics, glycolic peels, facial massage, spa services, and business knowledge.
Classes are limited to 14 students.
The Oregon Institute of Aesthetics offers two classes each year. The competency-based program is designed to prepare students for the Oregon State Exam and to immediately enter the work force as a confident esthetician. Students attend classes 2-3 days each week, graduating within 5 months.

STUDY IN DEPTH TOPICS OIA prepares students beyond the basics so they can begin their career with a thorough understanding of this fast growing industry. We focus on the health and wellness aspects of esthetic techniques. Students learn to give clients a relaxing experience in a nurturing environment. Our program gives students the training to work in a variety of settings: salon/spa, private practice or in medical esthetics. |

RECEIVE EXTENSIVE TRAINING This undergraduate program is based on the textbook Milady's Standard Fundamentals for Estheticians and the Oregon Department of Education's required core curriculum. Supplemental materials include professional trade journals, reference guides and texts. Part of the advanced training includes certification in peels and spa treatments. |
